Boltzmann's Brain: Meatwad stole it.

Thanks to big sis for fronting me this article, 'Big Brain Theory: Have Cosmologists Lost Theirs?' Its a pretty crazy theory about reality in general and really puts shit into perspective in layman's terms. Do yourself a favor and read through the 3 full pages of the article (even if you don't finish reading this blog posting), then kick back and enjoy Super Bowl 42.

Olde School

I just came across this little web page I made about 7 years ago, La Famiglia Gaboardi. Its a little crazy to think about how much life has changed in that time in regards to me personally and the world in general (mostly the world in general). At the time I created the page it was still perfectly acceptable (legal) to greet an airplane passenger as they disembarked from the plane and gas was hovering around $1/gallon in central Florida. Back then, people were only busting Bush's balls because he was a moron, now they do it because he ruined freedom for all the moral citizens of the world and destroyed the once revered democratic processes of the United States of America. I wish I could just go back to 2001, have 32 oz. of Olde English, and be a 1920's gangster again. Is it really so much to ask for?

It always begins with a little inspiration.

Last time Dirty Dave left Japan he inspired me to start a blog about the nightly party I live and other events in my daily life. It turned out to be a good hobby and somewhat of a stress reliever. Now that he has come and gone again, he has left me with another gem: The TED Conference. So, as a part of of my New Year's resolution, I have decided to start a blog focusing on social and academic news/ideas/views. Social contribution is a part of my life I wish to further develop in 2008 and, therefore, it looks like my other option for a blog, Daily Domestic Adventures, is going to have to wait on the burner (at least for the time being). I would also like to thank my sister for the motivation to start doing this. Enjoy and feel free to leave comments with ideas/suggestions.
